Hospital Housekeeper
As an EVS Tech/Housekeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness throughout the hospital, including discharge rooms, patient rooms, and public areas. Your duties will include sweeping, mopping, sanitizing surfaces, handling trash and laundry, and other tasks as needed. This role requires timely cleaning and the ability to assist wherever necessary.
Responsibilities- Clean and maintain discharge rooms, patient rooms, and public areas.
- Perform sweeping, mopping, and surface sanitization.
- Handle trash and laundry efficiently.
- Ensure timely completion of cleaning tasks.
- Assist in various areas of the hospital as needed.
- 6 months of previous housekeeping or janitorial experience.
- Strong attendance record and tenure.
- Punctuality and reliability.
- Excellent communication skills for interaction with patients, nurses, doctors, and the housekeeping team.
- Physical ability to lift 50 lbs and push 100 lbs.

- Experience with environmental services and hospitality.

Work EnvironmentThe hospital environment is fast-paced and operates 24/7. Shifts include 1st shift from 7am to 3:30pm and 2nd shift from 3pm to 11:30pm. The schedule includes rotating weekends.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Austin, TX.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $17.00/hr eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
