Floor Tech

PJS of Austin, LLC is seeking a reliable Floor Tech to support commercial clients across Austin. This role focuses on floor care, including stripping, waxing, buffing, burnishing, and deep cleaning of hard floors and some carpets in office and facility environments. You will safely operate floor machines and chemicals, follow detailed cleaning schedules, and help maintain clean, safe, and professional spaces.

Responsibilities

• Perform floor stripping, waxing, buffing, and burnishing in commercial facilities
• Operate and maintain floor machines, auto-scrubbers, and related equipment safely
• Follow set schedules and work orders to complete assigned floor care tasks on time
• Use proper chemicals and procedures for different floor types and finishes
• Perform spot cleaning, mopping, sweeping, and occasional carpet cleaning
• Inspect floors and report damage, safety issues, or supply needs to supervisor
• Follow all safety, PPE, and OSHA guidelines during cleaning and chemical use
• Work independently or with a crew, maintaining a professional, customer-focused attitude
