Maintenance Technician / Mechanic, Field/Service Technician
Our client, an innovative leader in vehicle maintenance and engineering support, is seeking a Vehicle Technician 1 to join their team. As a Sr. Service Technician, you will be part of the Maintenance Department supporting the Fleet Operations Team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong technical skills, reliability, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.
Location:Austin, TX
Pay Range:$43-46/hr
What's the Job?- Configure, set up, maintain, diagnose, and sign off on vehicles for safe on-road operation
- Perform scheduled vehicle maintenance and repairs to ensure optimal performance
- Coordinate and drive the repair process, escalating issues to engineering teams as needed
- Create diagnostic test plans and maintain detailed service records and quality reports
- Maintain shop facilities, tools, and workspace to ensure a safe and efficient environment
- Extensive knowledge of vehicle maintenance methods, techniques, parts, tools, and materials
- Minimum of 2 - 4 years of technician experience in a related field
- Valid driver's license with a clean/excellent driving record
- Reliable, self-motivated, and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong communication skills, honesty, and responsibility in all tasks
