Compensation: $23.00 - $26.00 per Hour
Sign-On Bonus: $1,500
Shift Differential:
Night/Swing: 10%
Fri-Sat-Sun-Mon Day

Shift: 10%
Fri-Sat-Sun-Mon Night/Swing Shift: 15%

• $500 upon successful completion of 90 days of employment
• $1,000 upon successful completion of 180 days of employment

We are seeking a motivated Engineering Technician to join our team in Austin, TX. This role supports the testing, maintenance, troubleshooting, and qualification of advanced semiconductor equipment in both research and production environments. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical troubleshooting skills, a commitment to safety, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced setting.

• Perform testing, maintenance, and repair of Ion Implanters and RF Plasma Systems
• Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions to minimize downtime
• Support engineers and scientists in both R&D and manufacturing operations
• Conduct preventive maintenance and maintain accurate service documentation
• Assist with the installation, setup, and qualification of new semiconductor equipment
• Follow established safety procedures and operational guidelines

• Associate degree, technical certification, or equivalent training in Electronics, Robotics, Engineering Technology, or a related field
• 2 to 4 years of relevant technical or engineering support experience
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, diagrams, and technical documentation
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Demonstrated commitment to workplace safety and operational excellence
• Flexibility to support varying schedules or shifts as business needs require
