Vehicle Detail

Pay scale:
Wages include Base Hourly Compensation of between $17.00 and $17.05

The Vehicle Detailer cleans and refurbishes new and used vehicles, washing exterior of vehicles with cleaning solutions and water utilizing cloths, brushes and spraying equipment.

• Washes exterior of vehicles using cleaning solutions, water, cloths, and brushes;
• Cleans all interior; fabric, vinyl and leather surfaces utilizing vacuum equipment, cleaning agents, brushes, mechanized cleaning equipment and hand tools;
• Applies was and protectants to exterior surfaces, utilizing mechanized and hand application processes;
• Utilizes a variety of cleaners, polishes, and preservation agents throughout the vehicle;
• Cleans engine compartment by removing grease and grime using cleaning agents and steam cleaning equipment, masking and paining engine compartments;
• Maintains supply inventory by inspecting stock, anticipating needs placing and expediting orders and verifying receipt;
• Obeys all state and federal OSHA regulations, understands and complies with Material Safety Data Sheet Requirements.
• Adheres to all Company policies, procedures and ethical standards and established industry guidelines;
• Adheres to work schedule and arrive ready to productively work. Properly clock-in and clock-out at scheduled times;
• Complies with all safety rules and uses all appropriate safety and personal protection equipment as required;
• Adheres to established dress code policy at all times;
• Safeguards customer information, customer property, and Dealership information per established policy;
• Exemplifies organizational culture and hold others in department accountable for doing the same;
• Accomplishes all current and future tasks as appropriately assigned or requested.
