Substitute Nutrition Service Worker
Kern High School District – Substitute Nutrition Service Worker role.
Position: 3 hours daily. Locations:
Greater Bakersfield Area, Arvin, Kern Valley, Shafter.
Compensation: $18.08 per hour. Nutrition Services will cover fingerprint fee. A computerized register is helpful.
Responsibilities- Assist in food preparation, portioning, and distribution.
- Clean and maintain kitchen and work areas following established procedures.
- Record and report daily inventory and waste.
- Authenticate and process transactions using a computerized register.
- Knowledge of basic methods of food prep, cleaning, and procedures preferred.
- Basic testing required.
- Training will be provided.
- Experience is not required; entry‑level.
