Position OverviewTemp‑to‑Hire Maintenance Supervisor required to lead a skilled facilities team. This opportunity is ideal for a hands‑on supervisor who enjoys balancing team leadership, project coordination, and day‑to‑day repair and maintenance work.
Key Responsibilities- Lead, supervise, and mentor a team of Maintenance Technicians (Levels I & II)
- Manage facility work orders from intake to resolution, ensuring timely completion
- Prioritize daily tasks and delegate assignments based on urgency and scope
- Track labor hours and materials used via the work order management system
- Evaluate maintenance needs and determine when to involve outside contractors
- Respond to routine and emergency maintenance issues, including on‑call shifts
- Maintain clear documentation of all maintenance work, inspections, and repairs
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations and safety protocols
- Support procurement of materials, tools, and services for ongoing maintenance work
- Collaborate with Risk Management to monitor safety standards and job completion quality
- Conduct performance evaluations and contribute to team development
- Attend required trainings, meetings, and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement
- 5+ years of experience in building maintenance, construction, or facilities repair
- 2+ years in a supervisory or lead technician role
- Strong knowledge of building systems, safety standards, and maintenance best practices
- Skilled in organizing teams, setting priorities, and resolving technical challenges
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a cross‑functional team
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid California driver’s license with clean driving record
- Able to pass live scan, TB test, drug screening, and meet other compliance requirements
- Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus
