Janitor - Part Time

Remote Status: On-Site

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Part Time Janitor to join our team in Bakersfield, CA. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and ensuring a safe and sanitary environment.

The Janitor will support Fortis Native Group and will report to the project manager. This position would be 100% onsite.

** Please note that the clearance process with the FAA often takes 4-6 weeks.

• Perform general cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and trash removal.
• Maintain restrooms and replenish supplies as needed.
• Ensure all areas are clean, organized, and presentable.
• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management.
• Follow all company policies and safety procedures.

• Previous janitorial or cleaning experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to work flexible hours to meet the needs of the facility.
• Hardworking, dependable, and detail-oriented.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

This is a part time position with flexible hours.

• Total Compensation Package: $23.90/hour
  • Base Pay: $18.81/hour
  • Health & Welfare Benefit: Additional $5.09/hour (up to 40 hours per week)

Extra Benefit: Any unused Health & Welfare funds are paid directly to you in your paycheck.
