Maintenance Supervisor

Maintenance Supervisor and Facilities is responsible for overseeing the maintenance and operation of buildings, equipment, and grounds, coordinating repairs, enforcing safety, managing a team, and ensuring facilities are functional and compliant.

This is a full-time position, and hours of work and days are Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. May work on weekend(s) and evenings.

• Leadership:
  Provide coaching, training, and mentorship to personnel. Foster a collaborative, solution-driven team environment.
• Team Oversight:
  Assign daily tasks, monitor progress, and ensure timely completion of maintenance and repair activities.
• Maintenance Management:
  Support preventive maintenance schedules, troubleshoot equipment issues, and assist in implementing improvements for reliability.
• Policy Management:
  Adhere to established company policies, procedures, terms and conditions and regulations that affect maintenance procedures and policies. Establish and implement methods and best practices related to maintenance activities which meet company policies such as The Good Manufacturing Policies and other policies, procedures and goals.
• Safety & Compliance:
  Enforce safety protocols, including lockout/tagout procedures, GMPs, and OSHA regulations.
• Collaboration:
  
  Work closely with the Maintenance Manager and other departments to ensure seamless operations and optimal machinery performance.
• Continuous Improvement:
  Identify inefficiencies and implement process enhancements to reduce downtime and improve efficiency.

Perform all other duties as assigned.

• Supervises and coordinates the work of maintenance personnel and contractors.
• Hires, trains, and evaluates maintenance staff.
• Manages work schedules, assigns tasks, and monitors performance.
• Ensures adherence to company policies, procedures, and safety regulations.

• Oversees the maintenance, repair, and upkeep of equipment and buildings.
• Identifies and addresses maintenance needs, both preventative and reactive.
• Develops and implements maintenance schedules and procedures.
• Manages work orders and tracks maintenance activities.

• Ensures a safe and effective working environment.
• Implements and enforces safety protocols and procedures.
• Conducts regular safety inspections and audits.
• Ensures compliance with relevant regulations and standards.

• Orders tools, supplies, and equipment.
• Monitors inventory and manages resources effectively.

• Communicates effectively with staff, management, and other departments.
• Coordinates with contractors and vendors.
• Provides regular updates on maintenance activities and issues.

• May be responsible for facility maintenance tasks.
• May assist with minor repairs or maintenance tasks.
• May be involved in planning and coordinating major projects or renovations.
