💰 Pay: $55,000-$60,000+ based on experience
Are you a skilled maintenance professional with leadership experience and a hands-on approach to problem-solving? We're looking for a Lead Maintenance Technician to oversee daily maintenance operations and support a safe, well-functioning environment across our campus facilities.
You'll work closely with a small team, take the lead on repairs, prioritize work orders, and ensure that all systems are running smoothly and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and assist with daily maintenance tasks across multiple buildings
- Provide guidance to 2 maintenance assistants
- Respond to and troubleshoot emergency issues, including fire/burglary alarms
- Review and complete maintenance work orders in a timely manner
- Oversee unit turnovers and ensure inspection readiness within 14 days of move-out
- Perform hands-on repairs (plumbing, electrical, appliances, drywall, etc.)
- Maintain inventory of tools and supplies; ensure equipment is properly stored
- Coordinate with vendors and assist during inspections and exterminator visits
- Support snow removal efforts using blowers and hand tools
- Help with event setup including moving furniture and arranging tables/chairs
- Foster respectful and professional communication with staff, residents, and guests
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in building/facility maintenance
- Demonstrated leadership or team lead experience
- Capability to independently manage and utilize computer systems
- Strong technical skills in plumbing, electrical, drywall, and appliance repair
- Organized, dependable, and able to manage multiple priorities
- Willingness and ability to perform physical labor and work outdoors in all weather
- Able to work independently without continuous supervision or guidance
- Comfortable in emergency situations and quick decision-making
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Universal HVAC Certification is a requirement
- Valid driver's license required
