Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Maintenance Mechanic. The Maintenance Mechanic will perform daily maintenance tasks, including equipment repairs and inspections, troubleshoot issues, and carry out preventive and corrective maintenance work. Responsibilities include maintaining and repairing various systems, ensuring the functionality of school facilities, and adhering to safety protocols. The role involves collaboration with facilities staff to promote operational efficiency and address any technical or mechanical concerns.

Qualifications
  • Proficiency in Equipment Maintenance and Preventive Maintenance, with the ability to conduct routine checks and ensure the longevity of systems
  • Experience in Corrective Maintenance and Maintenance & Repair to address and resolve malfunctioning equipment or systems effectively
  • Knowledge of Industrial Maintenance practices and tools to support operational needs
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team
  • Commitment to workplace safety and ensuring compliance with safety standards
  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical certifications or vocational training in related fields are preferred
  • Previous maintenance experience in an educational or similar institutional setting is a plus
