Job Description
Responsible for ensuring the efficient operation and maintenance of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems for an assigned facility. This role is crucial for maximizing the life and reliability of all systems. The position may require acting as the sole engineer on-site and occasionally supervising maintenance staff, depending on the building’s size and complexity.
Responsibilities- Conduct daily operations and maintenance of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
- Supervise and assign tasks to maintenance staff as needed.
- Perform preventive maintenance duties such as changing filters, lubricating motors, and replacing lamps and ballasts.
- Inspect and adjust belts, replace motor bearings, and align shafts.
- Develop and maintain building-specific maintenance procedures.
- Coordinate with outside contractors and technicians for maintenance efforts.
- Maintain stock and inventory control.
- Respond immediately to emergency situations and customer concerns.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable codes and regulations.
- Compile and submit monthly reports to keep management informed of building operations.
- Proficiency in building maintenance, facilities maintenance, HVAC, and building engineering.
- Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
- Excellent organizational and technical skills.
- Ability to make decisions and solve problems effectively.
Skills & Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED.
- CFC certification or higher.
- Valid Driver’s License.

Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Baltimore, MD.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $36.50 - $42.00/hr.
