Maintenance Technician / Mechanic
We are seeking a Repair Operations Coordinator for KONE Americas to support our Richmond, VA, Baltimore, MD, Beltsville, MD, and Mechanicsburg, PA branches.
Job OverviewAs a Repair Operations Coordinator, you will support the repair process by booking repair orders, managing invoicing, coordinating parts, and fostering communication with customers and operations staff. The position is located in one of the specified branches and, after training, will transition to a hybrid schedule.

- Book and manage quoted repair orders in SAP.
- Initiate invoice down payments, requisition parts, and follow up with customers.
- Coordinate with Operations and customers to schedule planned repairs.
- Maintain Technician on‑call Scheduler for overtime calls.
- Assist Service / Repair Supervisor and provide internal technician support.
- Audit completeness and accuracy of orders and update SAP.
- Manage and order office supplies and report functions for branch staff meetings.
- Perform general office work and administrative tasks related to the ongoing repair business.
- Book quoted repair orders and requisition parts.
- Schedule quoted repair and quick quotes; collaborate with supervisors, customers, 3rd party entities, and regulatory bodies.
- Assist with permitting and permit management.
- Assist with invoice dispute and initiate invoices.
- Provide internal technician support.
- Assist Service / Repair Supervisor.
- Proficient in MS Word and Excel.
- Well organized.

- Minimum 2+ years of progressive customer service experience.
- High school education or equivalent.

The hiring range for this role in the Baltimore, MD location is $58,600.00 – $76,695.00. Compensation will depend on candidate’s ability to meet the requirements of the role, needs for the business strategy, and a range of factors unique to each candidate.
Other location ranges:
Beltsville, MD: $63,000.00 – $82,740.00;
Mechanicsburg, PA and Richmond, VA: $54,800.00 – $71,925.00.
KONE Annual Bonus plan at 5% Target Incentive based on achievement of company goals and individual goals.
