How We Think
Here's to those who think differently. The ones who think that a car dealership's first priority should be the guest. Such a candid idea could only come from Ourisman. Because we're forward thinking, just like the communities we serve. Individuals who won't be constrained by how things "have always been done", but instead strive to do things "how they could be done" and "how they should be done."
It is a philosophy we have infused into every fabric of our dealerships, from the bottom up, in every department, and in every Ourisman team member. Changing the way we all think about car buying is just the beginning.
As a Mobile Maintenance Technician, you'll support Ourisman's mobile service program by bringing routine maintenance and light repair to customers where they are.
- Perform on-site services: oil changes, tire rotations, batteries, filters, bulbs, and multi-point inspections
- Explain vehicle condition and recommended next steps in clear, professional terms
- Keep the mobile service vehicle stocked, organized, and safe (tools, parts, and equipment)
- Complete repair orders, inspection results, and service notes accurately in dealership systems
- Follow safety rules and standard operating procedures
- Plan your day to stay on schedule and run an efficient route with limited supervision
- 2-3+ years as an automotive technician
- Strong preventative maintenance knowledge and basic diagnostic ability
- ASE certification in Brakes, G1 (Maintenance & Light Repair), and/or Electrical/Electronic Systems
- Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record
- Strong customer communication skills; GM/Chevrolet experience is a plus

Your Typical DayYou start by checking your route, confirming appointments, and making sure your mobile unit is ready before heading out from Marlow Heights. Most of your day is spent at customer homes or workplaces, keeping the experience simple and professional. Between stops, you stay on top of updates, answer quick questions, and keep records current so the service lane and advisors have clean, complete information.
You work solo, manage your time, and keep the day moving. You finish by wrapping up paperwork, resetting inventory, and prepping for tomorrow.
