Job Description
The Facility Coordinator (FC) primary responsibility is to monitor and inspect buildings, building components, and infrastructure for life‑cycle management. The FC will submit and track service orders from initiation to completion, performing various inspections using prescribed checklists. The FC may also assist with supplemental cleaning and associated tasks.

Duties and Responsibilities- Conduct inspection of life, health & safety equipment, including fire extinguishers, AEDs, AED pads, and eye wash stations; conduct comprehensive building inspections.
- Serve as the Fire Monitor in all CBC buildings, resolve deficiencies identified by the APG Garrison FD Fire Chief and work with APG FD Fire Inspectors.
- Monitor areas for restocking and resupply.
- Coordinate with Project Engineer to assist with project support and contractor escorting.
- Responsible for snow removal and spill cleanup as needed.
- Support after‑hours emergency response to weather or facility‑related issues, providing 24‑hour coverage including off‑hours, weekends, and holidays (On‑Call).
- Provide emergency response for floods, mold remediation, bodily fluid clean‑up, and general housekeeping.
- Follow all internal and external procedures/SOPs.
- Monitor and police surrounding exterior grounds up to 50 feet from the building.
- Work with and assist building occupants to identify and resolve concerns.
- Assist in maintaining neat and presentable appearance of facilities to the customer.
- Follow directions from Supervisor and Government Leadership; work independently as part of a team and adhere to policies.
- Support customer schedules in scheduling repairs and annual requirements.
- Maintain records for accountability and audit standard.
- Support excellence in customer service, delivering excellent service to internal and external customers.
- Identify safety concerns to Supervisor and other stakeholders (DOD, ARMY, OSHA, ANSI, others).
- Assist in maintaining accurate files and provide documentation to Government Lead.
- Provide required monthly data for monthly report/tracking matrix.
- Ensure administrative functions/paperwork is in order and completed on time.
- Maintain clean and safe worksite while performing job duties and be attentive to detail.
- Support the mission, vision, values, and goals of the US ARMY.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Minimum of 4 years of Facility Management Experience and a Bachelor’s degree in a related field, and an active Maryland CLASS C Driver’s License.
- Or minimum of 8 years of Facility Management Experience and an active IFMA Facility Management Professional (FMP) Certification, and an active CLASS C Driver’s License.
- Or minimum of 20 years of Commercial or Industrial Facility Management Experience and an active CLASS C Driver’s License.
- Performed in office interiors, building settings, and occasional outdoor work.
- Primarily mobile; walk exterior/interior sites and evaluate projects and tour warehouses and buildings on post.
- Capable of sitting and entering data on a computer keyboard for extended periods of time.
- Must be able to view computer monitor for extended periods.
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds unassisted and work in bending and standing positions for extended periods and all types of weather.

- Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Must possess a valid driver’s license without special restrictions.
- Must pass a pre‑employment drug screening and physical and periodic retests.
- Must successfully complete a background check.
- Must possess or obtain a security clearance prior to employment and maintain it during employment.
