Position Details

• Position: Painter
• Location: Baltimore, MD (21214)
• Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
• Pay Rate: $22.00 per hour
• Employment Type: Full-Time

Position Overview

As a Painter, you will be responsible for preparing, painting, and finishing interior and exterior surfaces across the property. This role requires precision, speed, and a strong understanding of painting techniques to ensure consistent, high-quality results.

You will play a key role in maintaining the property's appearance and ensuring units are move-in ready.

Key Responsibilities

Surface Preparation

• Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, scraping, and filling holes or cracks
• Ensure all surfaces are properly ready for paint application
• Repair minor wall imperfections to achieve a smooth finish

Painting & Finishing

• Apply paint, stains, and coatings to walls, ceilings, trim, and other surfaces
• Mix paints and coatings to achieve proper color matching and consistency
• Deliver clean, even, and professional finishes

Protection & Quality Control

• Protect surrounding areas using masking tape, drop cloths, and coverings
• Maintain neat and organized work spaces during and after projects
• Inspect finished work to ensure it meets quality standards

Team & Production Support

• Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment to complete projects on time
• Assist with unit turns and property upkeep as needed
• Communicate with team members and management regarding project timelines

Safety & Maintenance

• Maintain tools, equipment, and materials in safe working condition
• Follow all safety procedures and company guidelines
• Keep work areas clean, organized, and hazard-free

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a painter in residential or apartment settings preferred
• Strong knowledge of surface preparation and painting techniques
• Ability to mix and match paints accurately
• Experience working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
• High attention to detail and commitment to quality work
• Ability to handle physical demands including standing, bending, and lifting
