Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Certified Floor Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining, cleaning, and restoring various types of flooring surfaces to ensure a safe and aesthetically pleasing environment. This role requires expertise in floor care techniques, the use of specialized equipment, and adherence to safety standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform floor maintenance tasks including stripping, waxing, buffing, and polishing.
  • Operate and maintain floor care equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Identify floor types and apply appropriate cleaning and restoration methods.
  • Inspect floors regularly to detect damage or wear and recommend repairs or replacements.
  • Follow all safety protocols and company policies to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
  • Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet project deadlines and quality standards.
Qualifications
  • Certification as a Floor Technician or equivalent credential.
  • Proven experience in floor care and maintenance.
  • Knowledge of various flooring materials and appropriate care techniques.
  • Ability to operate floor care machinery and tools.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Good physical stamina and ability to perform manual tasks.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Two years experience in hard floor and carpet care.
