Data Center Technician

Our client, a leader in critical infrastructure management, is seeking a dedicated Data Center Technician to join their team. As a Data Center Technician, you will be part of the Operations Department supporting the maintenance and monitoring of essential facilities. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach, which will align successfully within the organization.

Job Title: Data Center Technician

Location: Baltimore, MD

Pay rate: $42/hr

What's the Job?

• Perform preventative maintenance and site monitoring for critical infrastructure systems.
• Conduct engineering rounds and site inspections, checking and recording operational data.
• Coordinate with JLL engineers to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
• Operate and maintain pumps, fire systems, HVAC, electrical, and fire suppression systems.
• Support 24/7 data center operations by working flexible shifts, including day, second, and third shifts.

What's Needed?

• 5-7 years of experience in mission-critical environments or related fields.
• Basic knowledge of HVAC, electrical, and fire suppression systems.
• Prior military or technical school training is preferred.
• Electrical or mechanical license is a plus.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication skills.
