Custodial Care Specialist
Under direct supervision, cleans carpets, strips and waxes all hard floor surfaces, and performs other custodial duties as required. Takes appropriate and necessary precautions to ensure the safety of patients, visitors and other associates in accordance with standards set forth by the Joint Commission, OSHA and other regulatory agencies. Fulfillment of the job duties requires the employee to have access to medication storage areas.

- Sweeps and mops assorted hard floor surfaces.
- Strips and waxes different types of hard floor surfaces.
- Finishes wood floors
- Cleans upholstery
- Performs custodial cleaning including cleaning of restrooms, offices, classrooms, labs etc.
- Performs extracting liquids from carpet.
- Adheres to all established systems and training programs to provide a safe working environment. Maintains knowledge and complies with all Joint Commission, OSHA and other local, state and federal government regulations.
- Provides hospitable service and follows service recovery principles daily and consistently.
- Must adhere to the policies and procedures regarding confidentiality and other HIPPA requirements.
Two years experience in hard floor and carpet care. One year custodial/housekeeping experience preferred.
Ability to work in a team environment, and under time constraints. Knowledge of stripping and waxing hard floor surfaces.
