Housekeeper - Sunrise

Join our team at Sunrise Post Acute and help create a clean, comfortable, and welcoming environment for our residents, visitors, and staff.

The Housekeeper is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, appearance, and overall upkeep of the facility, including common areas, resident spaces, grounds, and fixtures. This role plays a vital part in ensuring a safe, sanitary, and pleasant environment throughout the community.

• Monitor the building and surrounding grounds to ensure a clean, neat, and professional appearance.
• Perform routine housekeeping and cleaning duties throughout the facility.
• Clean and sanitize restrooms, including toilets, sinks, floors, and other surfaces.
• Replenish restroom and housekeeping supplies as needed.
• Remove trash and dispose of waste in designated areas.
• Maintain and properly use all housekeeping and janitorial equipment.
• Report maintenance concerns and major repair needs to management in a timely manner.
• Follow established safety, infection control, and cleaning procedures.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
• Previous housekeeping, environmental services, janitorial, or maintenance experience preferred.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.

• Pay Range: $17.48 - $18.00 per hour, DOE (Depending on Experience)
