Job Title:
Burner - 2nd Shift
The primary function of this role is to cut and groove pipe to print in the Fabrication Shop. This position is represented by the Plumbers and Pipe fitters Local Union #219.
This job requires the ability and desire to work in a fast paced multi tasked environment with a focus towards detail and accuracy.
Include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Reviewing pipe required for job area.
- Calling in pipe from the yard.
- Cutting pipe to length and grooving/threading.
- Read blueprints and sketches and handle pipe accordingly.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Previous experience working in a fabrication or manufacturing shop is required.
- Experience with basic computer systems is required. Experience with Microsoft Office is a plus.
