Bardstown Motor Lodge is looking for a Hotel General Maintenance Technician (PT)
The Hotel Maintenance (PT) position entails maintaining the physical environment (inside/outside) for assigned buildings, executing work orders, performing landscaping duties, servicing the pool, and ensuring the building is clean and stocked with supplies.
Responsibilities- Performs maintenance of electrical systems (replacing light bulbs, ballast, outlets, switches)
- Maintains heating and plumbing systems to ensure functionality. Provide preventative maintenance of HVAC systems (air handler coils cleaned, replace filters and belts)
- Conducts general upkeep (landscaping) and other tasks as assigned (painting, carpentry, appliances, drywall, windows, etc.)
- Performs manual repairs when necessary.
- Keeps the pool clean and up to safety standards.
- Reports any unsafe conditions to Management.
- Conducts preventative maintenance throughout property including guest rooms, public spaces, kitchen, restaurant, storage, and office areas.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Minimum high school or GED required.
- Previous experience in hotel maintenance is preferred but not required.
- Weekend availability
- Knowledge of electrical, plumbing and HVAC systems
- Strong knowledge of tools, common appliances and devices
- Must possess a valid driver's license
- Deadline, detail and customer service-oriented
- Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagrammatic, or schedule form.
