NPR of America, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Supplies Specialist to support our Maintenance Department. This position is responsible for maintaining the Maintenance stockroom, purchasing and tracking parts and supplies, maintaining inventory records, and providing administrative and general maintenance support.

This position is a good fit for someone who is organized, comfortable working with inventory and computer systems, and able to balance administrative responsibilities with hands-on work in a manufacturing environment.

• Receive, stock, track, and issue maintenance parts, materials, and supplies.
• Maintain an organized and properly stocked Maintenance stockroom.
• Obtain quotes, assist with vendor setup, prepare requisitions, place orders, and track order status.
• Prepare weekly reorder information and assist with inventory management.
• Enter and maintain information in the maintenance work order system.
• Collect and enter equipment and machine downtime information.
• Maintain Maintenance Department records, spreadsheets, and reports.
• Prepare monthly inventory information for Accounting.
• Assist with recycling coordination and other Maintenance Department activities.
• Use a forklift as needed.
• Assist with general maintenance, preventive maintenance, and equipment-related tasks as directed.
• Assist with and monitor outside contractors when needed.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

This position works in both office and manufacturing environments. The role requires frequent movement throughout the facility and the ability to bend, twist, squat, and occasionally lift or move up to 25 pounds. Safety shoes and safety glasses are required when working in production areas. Occasional weekend and/or holiday work may be required based on production and business needs.

• High school diploma or GED.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role; manufacturing experience is preferred.
• Previous inventory management experience.
• Working knowledge of general maintenance.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities.
• Good written, problem-solving, interpersonal, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
