Maintenance Technician / Mechanic, Building Maintenance
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

- Building/Grounds: Maintain all bank-owned properties in a professional and working condition. Responsible for completion of maintenance within premises as qualified for or calling specialists and/or company as necessary (HVAC).
- Building Security: Assist locations with opening when needed.
- Courier and Mail Runs: Ensure that interoffice branch mail is securely delivered between local branches daily.
- Sidewalk and Entrance: Salt and shovel bank sidewalks/entrances as needed during snow or icy conditions to help ensure the safety of our employees and customers.
- Bank Vehicle: Maintain all bank-owned vehicles in good working order, taking them for maintenance/repair as needed. Keep bank-owned vehicle interiors clean and professional.
- Bank Meetings: Help prepare the bank for any scheduled meetings.
- Computers/Phones/Furniture: Assist, as needed, with moving office equipment for employees transferring offices. Perform furniture assembly and minor repairs (as qualified).
- Inventory: Keep inventory count and stocked. This includes purchasing replacement items when needed.
- Special Projects: Perform duties and special projects as requested.
- Basic knowledge and understanding of how to maintain heating/cooling systems, electrical, plumbing, construction, painting, and flooring.
- Ability to schedule, multitask, prioritize, and complete multiple projects.
- Ability and willingness to proactively take initiative by identifying and correcting maintenance issues without instruction.
- Valid Driver’s License.
- Ability to lift/move, on occasion, heavy objects as needed.
- Ability to navigate stairs while performing duties.
- Work well individually and with a team while maintaining a positive attitude.
- Must demonstrate a business professional image and demeanor.
- Must be able to communicate professionally both verbally and in writing.
- Excellent work ethic and dependable attendance.
- Ability to follow security procedures.
- Regularly required to sit, use hand to finger, handle or feel, reach with hands and arms, and talk, see or hear. Intermittently standing, stooping, bending at the waist, walking, kneeling or crouching to file materials.
- Regularly lift and/or move and carry up to 50 pounds.
