Maintenance Associate

The Maintenance Associate is responsible to perform maintenance activities per the Maintenance Program and ensure on-time delivery of equipment in accordance with operational demand. The Maintenance Associate supports initiatives to improve the maintenance-related Cost of Service Delivery (CoSD), Maintenance Efficiency, People Productivity, and Asset Availability within the Center of Reliability and Efficiency (CRE) or Maintenance Base (MB), or Maintenance Center. Under direct supervision of either a Maintenance Supervisor, or Maintenance Technician, perform assigned higher-level maintenance activities.

Adhere to transactional discipline within Technology Lifecycle Management (TLM) business systems, accurately capturing maintenance related data. Comply with and respective division TLM standards. Maintain and build competency in compliance with the TLM Competency Management System. Participate in and support continuous improvement (CI) initiatives.

• Disassemble following specific procedures and using appropriate tools
• Thoroughly clean equipment components to remove petroleum product residues, mud deposits and other contaminants
• Inspect disassembled parts to identify damage, wear, and signs of corrosion
• Perform minor repairs if necessary
• Assemble equipment after cleaning and repair, following manufacturer specifications and quality standards
• Maintain accurate inventory of spare parts and tools used in the disassembly and cleaning process
• Follow strict safety protocols when handling petroleum products and using tools and equipment
• Collaborate with maintenance and production teams to schedule disassembly and cleaning times to minimize production interruptions

• Mechanical disassembly and assembly skills, including the use of manual and power tools
• Ability to follow detailed instructions and adhere to safety standards
• Inspection skills to identify defects and damage
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
