Job DescriptionThe role is responsible for developing and maintaining effective supplier quality assurance processes to ensure compliance with customer, regulatory, and aerospace standards. The position works closely with procurement, engineering, and value stream teams to qualify new suppliers, drive continuous improvement, and ensure ongoing compliance with ISO
9001/AS9100 through robust corrective action and performance management.
- Develop and maintain supplier quality assurance processes, including supplier approvals, audits, and performance metrics.
- Lead investigations and resolve supplier quality issues.
- Support APQP, PPAP, and First Article Inspection activities.
- Collaborate with procurement, engineering, and value stream teams.
- Drive continuous improvement and ensure ongoing compliance with ISO
9001/AS9100.
- 3–5 years’ experience in a regulated manufacturing environment, ideally aerospace.
- Strong knowledge of APQP, PPAP, FMEA and SPC.
- Experience in supplier audits, supplier development and performance improvement.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, excellent communication, and the ability to build effective supplier relationships.
- Recognised qualification in Engineering or Quality Assurance, experience with ISO
9000/AS9100. - Lead Auditor certification and AS9100/Part 21 Subpart G knowledge desirable.
