Job DescriptionThe Sourcing Leader is responsible for managing supplier relationships, supporting operations and business units, and the overall development and implementation of sourcing strategies that align with the Senior Flexonics’s objectives. The Sourcing Leader will report directly to the purchasing manager. They will utilize the ERP system to manage pricing, supplier selection, invoice receipts, and align with Accounts Payable.
Key Result Areas- Direct Purchasing
- Perform day-to-day purchasing activities as they relate to sourcing of direct material.
- Manage communication with the supply base, buyers, and the production planners.
- Project Management
- Demonstrate project management skills in overseeing RFQs, project deliverables, and timelines aligned with business unit objectives.
- Teamwork
- Develop relationships with internal colleagues and external supply base, to ensure business continuity of material delivery.
- Participate in program meetings and provide information critical to the success of launch and/or securing of new business.
- Supplier Management
- Manage supplier performance by conducting regular business reviews, monitoring key metrics, deliver scorecards, and continuously evaluating and improving the overall supply base.
- Sourcing Experience
- Perform global sourcing to identify raw material and component suppliers, leveraging sourcing expertise to evaluate total cost in supplier selection.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred. Business, operations, management, or equivalent.
- 3 years plus of experience (direct material sourcing preferred).

The expected salary range for this position is $95-105K per year. Final compensation will be based on experience, qualifications, and other relevant factors.
