Job DescriptionThe Trade Compliance Analyst is responsible for day‑to‑day management of import and export shipments. Scope of work includes maintaining product classification to ensure full trade compliance and timely customs clearance, managing transportation‑related import and export documentation, and staying up to date with trade regulations, tariffs, and sanctions. This role supports import and export compliance for shipments into and out of the United States and Mexico, and works closely with internal teams, customs brokers, freight forwarders, and authorities to ensure accurate, timely, and compliant cross‑border transactions.
Qualifications- 3+ years of customs or trade compliance experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field (or equivalent professional experience)
- Proficiency in HTS classification, country of origin determination, and valuation
- Experience with USMCA and Free Trade Agreements
- Knowledge of U.S. and Mexico customs documentation and compliance requirements
- Demonstrated ability to manage import/export documentation and maintain compliance records
- Customs broker license
- Bilingual English/Spanish proficiency
- Experience with ACE Portal reporting and entry summary audits
- Familiarity with Mexico customs documentation (Pedimentos) and IMMEX/maquiladora processes
- Experience with duty drawback claims and audit preparation
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Meticulous attention to detail with a compliance‑first mindset
- Effective time management and organizational skills
- Ability to work collaboratively across multiple departments and external stakeholders
- Process improvement orientation and audit readiness
Expected salary range: $70,000 – $85,000, with final compensation based on experience and qualifications.
