Skilled - Maintenance Technician

Position Title: Maintenance Technician

Wage: $62,400 - $83,200/year

Shift: 1st or 2nd

Hours: 4:00am - 2:00pm or 4:00pm - 2:00am

Maintenance Technician Responsibilities:

• Read and interpret electrical schematics ranging from low voltage to 480V- 3 phase
• Understand and interpret mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic schematics
• Use machine tool manuals, technical documents, assembly instructions, troubleshooting guides and internal and vendor resources to research machine issues
• Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, including CNC equipment and PLCs
• Use various electrical testing devices and programming equipment to perform general electrical repairs
• Participate in the continuous improvement process and collaborate with team members in problem solving meetings
• Assist in requisition of all spare and repair parts to maintain inventory at a desired level to minimize machine downtime
• Support equipment installations and removals
• Record repairs and maintenance performed in a computerized maintenance management system

Requirements for Maintenance Technician:

• Experienced with Lock Out / Tag Out techniques
• Able to effectively communicate with production supervisors and machine operators
