Machine Operator – $22/hr (Day & Night Shifts)

Location:

Bartlett, IL

Schedule:

• Day Shift: 7:00 AM–7:30 PM
• Night Shift: 7:00 PM–7:30 AM
• Training:
  Day Shift, Mon–Fri, 7:30 AM–4:00 PM (temporary during building startup)

The Machine Operator supports the production team by assisting with the setup, operation, and monitoring of extrusion equipment in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role is hands‑on and essential to keeping the extrusion line running safely, efficiently, and with consistent product quality. Ideal for candidates who enjoy machine work, teamwork, and learning new technical skills.

• Assist Lead Operator with machine setup, startup, operation, and shutdown
• Load resins, additives, and colorants into hoppers and feeders
• Perform visual inspections and basic measurements
• Remove, package, and label finished products
• Clean and prepare tooling/equipment for product transitions
• Maintain a clean, organized workspace and follow PPE requirements (Safety & 5S compliance)
• Assist operators and maintenance with minor adjustments (Troubleshooting support)
• Move raw materials and finished goods (pallet jack or forklift if certified)

• High school diploma or GED
• 1+ year of machine operation experience in manufacturing
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Stand/walk for up to 12 hours
• Frequent bending, kneeling, reaching, and repetitive movements
• Lift/push/pull up to 50 lbs regularly
• Comfortable working in a warm, noisy factory environment
• Ability to climb stairs/ladders and work at various heights
• Must wear required PPE (gloves, glasses, hearing protection, steel-toe footwear)
