Our client, a stable and growing manufacturing company located in Bartlett is adding an experienced Robot Programmer Tube Welder and Fabricator to their team. Shift Hours2nd Shift: 3:30 PM – 12:00 AM or 3:30 PM – 2:00 AM, if OT is assigned. Must be able to work Saturdays if OT is assigned. Must be able to train on 1st Shift from 5:00 AM – 1:30 PM Pay Rate: $22.00/hr.
PrerequisitesEntry test required: reading blueprints/arithmetic/fractions to decimals & decimals to fractions conversion
Basic understanding of welding Setup skills / mechanically inclined individual Knowledge of using calipers & gages Knowledge of using a microscope is a plus Good English:
Must be able to read technical English, speak, and understand English well Safety-oriented / Quality-oriented / Punctual and reliable, good attendance / Good Attitude
- 1.Sets up, adjusts and operates tube mills/welders to form tubing by the use of resistance, inert arc or gas welding processes.
- 2.Loads strip and guides through “lead-in” or profile rolls to form tube in preparation of welding process.
- 3.Adjusts welding equipment to achieve proper weld.
- 4.Cuts tubing to length and places in temporary storage racks.
- 5.Must perform “burst” test to check weld.
- 6.Change out weld rolls and blades.
- 7.Must perform weld section mounts and other quality checks.
Follow safety rules and keep work area in clean and orderly condition. Performs other related duties as assigned.
