Inventory Specialist

Herrmann Ultrasonics Inc., a leader in ultrasonic welding systems, seeks an Inventory Specialist to support our manufacturing operations in Bartlett, IL. In this role, you will manage inventory levels for components and finished goods, perform cycle counts, and maintain accurate ERP records. You will coordinate closely with production, purchasing, and shipping to ensure material availability, support traceability and quality standards, and keep storage areas organized.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily inventory levels for ultrasonic welding components, parts, and finished goods in a manufacturing environment
• Perform regular cycle counts, reconcile discrepancies, and maintain accurate inventory records in ERP systems
• Coordinate with production, purchasing, and shipping/receiving to ensure material availability and on-time job completion
• Monitor stock movements, update transactions, and generate inventory reports for operations and management
• Implement and follow inventory control procedures, including labeling, storage, and traceability standards
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to reduce stockouts, excess inventory, and material waste
• Assist with incoming inspections, bin location management, and organization of the warehouse and production storage areas
• Collaborate with quality and engineering teams to handle nonconforming materials and ensure correct documentation
