Salary Range: $90,000 - $100,000
Work Schedule:
Onsite Monday through Friday; 6a to 4p

Join our dynamic team in Bartlett, Illinois, as our Maintenance Supervisor/Manager. In this pivotal role, you'll oversee all maintenance activities, ensuring our production lines run safely, efficiently, and reliably in a fast-paced, food-safe environment. Lead a dedicated team of technicians and collaborate across departments to maximize equipment uptime, implement preventive maintenance strategies, and support our commitment to quality and safety.
Your expertise will directly impact our ability to deliver fresh, top-quality produce to customers while maintaining compliance with food safety standards and safety regulations.

Required Skills:- Background with Implementing a Preventative Maintenance Program (PM)
- Minimum of 5 years in industrial maintenance within food processing, refrigerated food manufacturing, or packaging environments
- At least 2 years in a supervisory or management role overseeing maintenance teams
- Proven experience implementing or managing preventive maintenance programs using platforms like UpKeep, MaintainX, Fiix, eMaint, SAP PM, MVP Plant, or similar
- Strong mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and troubleshooting abilities
- Knowledge of GMPs, HACCP, SQF, GFSI compliance, and food safety standards
- Ability to interpret equipment manuals, electrical schematics, and preventive maintenance instructions
- Excellent leadership, communication, planning, and follow-up skills
- Capable of working in wet, refrigerated, and fast-paced environments with urgent repair needs
Skills:
- Experience with fresh-cut produce, packaging lines, weigh scales, VFFS equipment, conveyors, metal detection, and case packing
- Knowledge of refrigeration systems, compressors, HVAC, and water systems
- Support for SQF, FDA audits, or third-party food safety inspections
- Technical certifications such as OSHA 10/30, CMRP, electrical, welding, refrigeration, PLC skills
- Bilingual English/Spanish communication skills
- Technical diploma, associate's or bachelor's degree in mechanical, electrical, or industrial technology
- Prior experience supporting fresh-cut, produce processing, or refrigerated food manufacturing environments
- Ability to work on the production floor, support off-shift activities, and respond promptly to urgent equipment issues
- Comfortable working in a refrigerated, wet environment with moving machinery and sanitation activities
- Willingness to support safety programs and maintain compliance with OSHA and food safety standards
