Job DescriptionUnder general supervision the Corrective Actions Coordinator will perform a variety of duties including, but not limited to:
- Maintains customer corrective action system status and performs periodic follow‑up of open items.
- Performs duties of SSP Corrective Active Coordinator and maintains files, logs and follow‑up records related to in‑house and vendor corrective actions.
- Maintains and updates MRB database on System 38 to include rejections, defect codes and costs associated with non‑conformance.
- Maintains and updates document release and configuration management system on mainframe computer.
- Reviews customer purchase orders to determine product acceptance of all applicable requirements prior to shipping.
- Reviews work orders, test reports and inspection reports for accuracy and completeness.
- Inspects product for any visual defects and, when necessary, records measurement data as required by supervisor or manager.
- Responsible for reporting non‑conformances to immediate supervisor upon discovery.
- Performs typing, prepares special reports the request of the Quality Assurance Manager.
- Performs incidental filing tasks as assigned by the Quality Assurance Manager.
- Follow all Senior policies and procedures.
- Other duties as assigned.
Education and/or Experience
- High School Diploma or General Education Degree; and 3‑5 years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Language:
Must have strong written and verbal communication skills. Must have the confidence to present to groups from all disciplines and levels. - Reasoning Ability:
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations. - Mathematical Ability:
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. - Other Abilities:
Must have prior experience with ISO 9001:2000, AS 9000, and NADCAP audits.
Annual Target Salary = $47,840.00
Monday – Friday 7:00 AM – 4:30 PM
