Quality Assurance Technician- 3rd Shift

Job Summary
:
The QC Technician maintains quality standards by approving incoming materials, in-process production, and finished products; recording quality results.

• Perform equipment verification and monitoring challenges (scale calibration, metal detector challenge, checkweigher challenge)
• Perform pre‑operation and line clearance inspections
• Conduct ATP sampling
• Independently perform and document all in‑process food safety and quality inspections (BOM, lot code, net weight, label review, sensory, package construction and closure)
• Independently conduct blow molding and winding inspection (Bartlett only)
• Investigate and follow hold procedures for out‑of‑specification components and finished goods
• Apply GMP and GDP practices and conduct GMP‑related auditing of production
• Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by adhering to standards, procedures, and legal regulations; cooperate and work as a team
• Work overtime hours as required by business needs
• Attend selected meetings and trainings as required
• Perform other duties as assigned by Management

• Computer literacy with tablets (e.g., iPads or other touch‑screen technology)
• General math skills
• Ability to read and write English

• High School diploma or GED and 3–6 months related food quality experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience

• Office setting and warehouse environment with temperature range of 55–80°F
• This position may require working weekends or shifts other than the employee’s own to meet business needs

• Lift up to 35 pounds

Salary: $18–$24/hr plus $1/hr Shift Differential
