As a Bakery Department Lead you will drive sales in your area and supervise your team of hourly associates to deliver to our members more of what they love, for less. You will model expertise in Bakery and work collaboratively with other team leaders to ensure the total club meets the member’s expectations.

• Lead the Bakery department team to achieve business goals and deliver on the club’s plan.
• Maintain an in-depth knowledge of business, floor and back-room operations, product specifications, and seasonality.
• Use digital tools to plan for and drive sales, improve the shopping experience, and elevate associate engagement.
• Drive business results, ensuring operational excellence, cleanliness, safety, and compliance with inventory, audit, and production standards.
• Teach and train the team, identifying training needs and providing the necessary skills to deliver high-quality products.
• Develop and implement processes and practices to meet business needs and improve results.
• Promote and support compliance with company policies, procedures, and ethical standards.
• Lead and participate in teams, sharing resources, information, and tools to achieve timelines and work quality.
• Demonstrate respect for individuals by embracing diversity, fostering inclusion, and building strong relationships.

• Hourly wage range: $22.00 to $30.00, meeting or exceeding local minimum wage.
• Additional premiums: $0.35 to $3.00 per hour, depending on schedule, facility, season, or specific duties.

• Six months experience in a bakery production department or supervising a team.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to complete all required training and assessments within the prescribed time period.

• Human Resources or Supervising Associates experience.
• Food Services - Serv Safe Certification.
