As our business continues to grow, we are seeking an experienced Installation Manager to lead our installation team and ensure exceptional customer experiences.
Position SummaryThe Installation Manager oversees all daily operations of the installation department, including managing Installers and Installer Assistants, scheduling jobs, coordinating with other departments, and ensuring projects are completed accurately and on time. This role requires a hands‑on leader with strong communication skills, a service‑first mindset, and the ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast‑paced environment.
Job Responsibilities- Lead, supervise, and support Installers and Installer Assistants.
- Schedule all installation and service projects from start to finish.
- Coordinate with customers, designers, and the production team to ensure job readiness.
- Maintain high standards of customer service throughout the installation process.
- Manage accounts receivable related to installation (job closeouts, balance collection, documentation).
- Train and coach Installer Assistants to grow into independent Installers.
- Monitor quality control, field performance, and adherence to company standards.
- Troubleshoot installation challenges and solve problems proactively.
- Maintain proper use and care of company equipment and tools.
- Experience with product installation or related trades (closets/cabinetry, home improvement, carpentry, appliance installation, kitchen/bath installation, etc.).
- Demonstrated leadership experience—formal or informal—directing work or training others.
- Strong customer service background and ability to represent the company professionally.
- Basic woodworking or hands‑on mechanical aptitude.
- Excellent communication, organization, and multitasking skills.
- Basic computer proficiency (scheduling, email, documentation).
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and make effective decisions.
