Position Summary

Technician, Facility Services – Food Equipment (Bartlett, TN). As a General Maintenance Technician you will diagnose, repair, and perform preventive maintenance on all commercial food equipment to support Walmart stores.

• Perform repairs on facilities, equipment, or fixtures, including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, material handling equipment, and food equipment.
• Complete routine maintenance to ensure safety and proper functionality.
• Develop and execute preventive maintenance schedules, completing all assigned PMs within the prescribed timeframe.
• Manage work orders and maintenance schedules, providing required written and electronic documentation (expense vouchers, weekly summaries, work orders, maintenance logs).
• Conduct training for Store Associates on proper care and cleaning of equipment.

• Food Equipment: combi ovens, deli slicers, auto meat cutters, fryers, hot cases, ice makers, pizza ovens, rotisserie ovens, thermoglazers, donut cases, four‑bowl warmers, bakery ovens, bread slicers, and tortilla makers.
• Grease and Oil Systems: oil/water separators, used cooking oil tanks.

• At least 3 years of experience in general maintenance (plumbing, electrical, carpentry, material handling equipment, food equipment, etc.).
• Valid state‑issued driver’s license for at least 3 years with a clean driving record; ability to pass a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) report.
• Eligible for a Commercial Driver’s License (CDL).

• Commercial driving record with no convictions for DUI, DWI, or OUI in the last five years and no more than two moving violations in the last three years.
• Experience reading blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
• Comfortable using hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment.
• Proficiency with word processing, spreadsheet, email, and presentation software.
