Framing Carpenter

Leapros Skilled Trades is actively hiring Framing Carpenter in Bartlett, IL. We are seeking a skilled Framing Carpenter for commercial, multifamily, and retail construction projects in Bartlett, IL. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in structural framing, layout, and installation within high-volume development environments.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $22 to $35 Per Hour BOE

• Construct and assemble wood or metal framing for walls, floors, and roofs in commercial and multifamily buildings
• Interpret blueprints, sketches, and building plans to ensure precise layout and installation
• Install studs, joists, trusses, and rafters according to architectural specifications
• Measure, cut, and shape materials using power saws, hand tools, and framing equipment
• Verify the trueness of structures using plumb bobs, levels, and carpenter squares
• Install sheathing, subflooring, and exterior wall components on retail and residential builds
• Collaborate with site supervisors and other trades to maintain project schedules and safety standards
• Maintain a safe and organized work area by adhering to OSHA regulations and site‑specific protocols

• 2+ years of professional framing experience specifically in commercial or multifamily construction
• Demonstrated experience with retail build‑outs and structural framing projects
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and construction documents
• Expertise in using standard carpentry tools, including miter saws, circular saws, and pneumatic nail guns
• Strong knowledge of building codes and structural framing techniques
• Ability to work independently and as part of a crew in a fast‑paced environment
• Reliable transportation to and from the job site in Bartlett, IL

• Must be able to lift and carry materials weighing up to 50 pounds
• Ability to work at heights on ladders, scaffolding, or lifts for extended periods
• Capability to stand, kneel, bend, and reach in various physical positions
• Manual dexterity and coordination required to operate heavy machinery and precision tools
• Ability to work in outdoor environments and be exposed to seasonal weather conditions
• Visual acuity to perform precise measurements and ensure structural alignment

The anticipated pay range for this position is $22 to $35 per hour, based on relevant factors such as experience, skills, education, internal equity, and geographic location. Final compensation will be determined during the interview process by the hiring authority.
