Maintenance Mechanic/Electrician

Insight Global is in search of a Maintenance Mechanic/Electrician in Bartlett, IL to work on 2nd shift (3:30pm-1:30am). This individual will be responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, installing, and maintaining a wide variety of complex mechanical, electrical, building, and facility systems in a manufacturing environment. Day-to-day responsibilities include working from CMMS work orders, maintenance manuals, wiring diagrams, schematics, and blueprints to diagnose equipment issues, determine root causes, and perform corrective repairs.

The Maintenance Mechanic/Electrician will troubleshoot electrical circuits, pneumatic and hydraulic systems, and servo-controlled automation equipment; install and modify machinery in accordance with plant and local codes; and repair or replace components such as motors, valves, gears, belts, hoses, clutches, and controls. Additional responsibilities include performing preventive maintenance, documenting equipment modifications, assisting with employee training, coordinating material procurement through purchasing, and maintaining a safe, clean, and organized work environment while adhering to all company safety policies and procedures.
