Part-Time Shipping and Receiving Operator

About the Role

Part‑time position (20‑25 hours per week) covering all aspects of shipping & receiving at Oxerra Americas, Inc. Responsibilities include ensuring timely receipt and delivery of inbound and outbound freight, data entry, reporting, record maintenance, and collaboration with manufacturing, distribution, customer service, supply chain, and third‑party logistics.

• Knowledge of shipping, receiving, and storage methods and principles, and the ability to organize warehouses based on this information.
• First point of contact for visitors, contractors, and freight drivers, controlling access to the site.
• Partner with supply chain and customer service teams to coordinate shipping activities, booking, and carrier pickups.
• Verify incoming and outgoing shipping and receiving activities for accuracy, completeness, and condition in compliance with procedures.
• Prepare bills of lading (domestic and international) and other shipping documents.
• Accurately perform transactions within the ERP system.
• Record shortages and report order discrepancies to the supervisor.
• Compile records of unfilled orders and work with Customer Service to resolve them.
• Prepare export documentation and ensure compliance with federal, state, local, and foreign regulations.
• Receipt of other goods and materials (Office/Maintenance/Operational Supplies).
• Assist workers in warehouse activities (staging orders, stocking material).
• Provide vacation/absence coverage for the Warehouse Supervisor.

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 2+ years of warehouse experience.
• Forklift certification preferred.
• Understanding of OSHA safety rules for warehouse work.
• Strong problem solving, analytical, and conceptual thinking skills.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Must pass a pre‑employment drug screening and background check.

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Frequent pushing, pulling, bending, twisting, reaching, and lifting.
• Stand and walk for extended periods.
• Work at heights, climb stairs and ladders.
• Wear all required personal protective equipment.
• Work in an area with non‑hazardous and hazardous materials.
• Work in areas that are dusty.
