About the team:

The General Facilities Maintenance team ensures safe and efficient facility operations through preventive maintenance and timely repairs. They expertly manage schedules, coordinate with contractors and suppliers, and apply advanced diagnostics and regulatory compliance knowledge. Focused on maintaining equipment functionality and safety, the team supports continuous improvement through training and clear communication. Their dedication to operational excellence enables reliable facility performance and prompt issue resolution, aligning with Walmart's mission to provide a secure and efficient environment for all stakeholders.

What you'll do:

* Lead and coordinate facility exterior services teams to meet business priorities and customer needs.

* Assign duties, communicate goals, and monitor team performance to ensure quality and timely completion of work.

* Provide coaching, feedback, and support to associates, fostering skill development and compliance with policies.

* Maintain safety and quality standards by ensuring equipment and supplies are functional and available.

* Manage landscaping tasks including planting, pruning, pest control, and general maintenance using horticultural best practices.

* Utilize technology to complete work orders, maintain records, and track compliance with regulations.

* Resolve customer concerns through effective communication and problem-solving.

What you'll bring:

* Proven leadership experience in supervising and developing teams within facility or exterior services.

* Strong knowledge of horticulture practices, including landscape management, planting, pruning, and pest control.

* Ability to coordinate and execute work assignments while ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards such as OSHA and DOT.

* Skilled in troubleshooting, customer service, and resolving facility-related issues effectively.

* Proficient in using technology to manage work orders, maintain records, and support operational efficiency.

* Commitment to upholding company policies, ethics, and quality standards in all aspects of work.

* Excellent communication and coaching skills to mentor associates and foster a collaborative work environment.
