, (SPS) located in Houston, TX, is a nationally recognized full-service EPC, specialty engineering, procurement, construction, testing, and commissioning company specializing in complex medium- and high-voltage electrical infrastructure in North America.

Saber Power Services is seeking an Assembly Technician to support the assembly, quality control, and shipment of electrical components and systems. This role involves hands‑on work with tools and equipment, ensuring products meet our standards of safety and performance. This position will be located in Baton Rouge, LA

• Assemble mechanical and electrical components using hand and power tools
• Perform quality checks and complete QC documentation
• Safely operate forklifts and other shop equipment
• Assist with shipping, receiving, and local part deliveries
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Follow safety protocols and wear required PPE
• Support preventative maintenance and shop organization
• Complete assigned tasks with minimal supervision and meet deadlines
• Other duties as assigned

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Basic knowledge of hand/power tools
• Ability to read and follow work orders or assembly instructions
• Strong attention to detail and time management
• Forklift experience preferred

This position may require the employee to:

• Stand, walk, sit, bend, kneel, crouch, and reach.
• Use hands to operate tools, equipment, and controls.
• Climb stairs, ladders, and scaffolding.
• Occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 pounds.
• Perform work requiring close, distance, peripheral, and depth perception, as well as color recognition and the ability to adjust focus.

• Pass drug screen and background check
• Maintain valid driver’s license
• Available to work Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM–3:00 PM, with occasional overtime
