Custodial Supervisor; Baton Rouge

Essential Functions:

• To serve as the main point ofcontact for Goodwill Industries at the worksite. To be knowledgeableofthestatementofworkandensurethatallworkisperformedtocontractspecifications. To maintain equipment, supplies, personnel information, andtime sheets.
• 1. Toensurethat at leastone member ofthemanagement team is on duty during work time.
• 2. Toorientandtrainnewortransferredcustodialworkers.
• 3. To supervise,disciplineandrecommenddischargecustodialworkers.
• 4. Toschedulecustodialemployeeswithfocusoncontrollingpayrollcostsandadequate coverage of complicit operation for proper customer service and quality.
• 5. Tosuperviseandmotivatecustodialemployeestoreachproductionguidelinesandtobecapable of producing as well.
• 6. Toconductperiodicinspectionsofsubordinates’work performance.
• 7. Topreparepersonnelandpayrollrecords inatimely manner.
• 8. Tocompleteaccuratelyotherpaperworkrequiredintheday-to-dayoperationofthecontract.
• 9. Toinventoryandrequestsuppliesensuringthatreordersareplacedbeforestockis depleted.
• 10. Toinspectcontractequipmentonaregularscheduleandmaintainanequipmentinspection log.
• 11. Toactasapositiverolemodelforemployeesandcustomersin
  all
  aspectsofprofessionalperformance.
• 12. Toaddressallcustomer complaintspromptlyand satisfactorily.
• 13. Tonotify Project Managerofallcustomercomplaintsandotherissuesthatmayariseatthe  worksite.
• 14. Toobservepersonnelpoliciesand safety procedures.
• 15. Toensurecompliancebysubordinates.
• 16. Toensurethedailysafety meetingisconductedand documented.
• 17. Toholdanemployees'meetingmonthlyanddocumentmeetingdiscussions.
  
  Meetings must include safety.
• 18. Toensurehourlyfloorchecksareconductedand documented.
• 19. Toattend,as scheduled,is required.
• 20. To possess and maintain avalid driver's license and to be insurable by the Company's automotive insurance carrier. Must obey all traffic/safety laws.
• 21. Toperformalldutiesasrequiredpercontract/Goodwill management.
• 22. Toperformadditionaldutiesasassigned.

• 1. Must be able to interact cordially and productively with a variety of people.
• 2. Must be able to market Goodwill and explain the mission to the public.
• 3. Mustestablishandmaintaineffectiveworkingrelationshipswith,andamong,contract personnel.
• 4. Must be able to read, write and communicate clearly in English.
• 5. Mustbeabletoworkaflexiblescheduleonshortnotice,includingnightsandweekends, and occasionally, long, or extended hours.
• 6. Mustbeabletoliftandcarryobjects upto
  10#'sfrequentlyand 50#'s occasionally.
• 7. Mustbeabletoengageinprolongedstanding,walkingandinfrequentbending,stooping, and stretching and climbing stairs.
• 8. Mustbeabletofunctioninahecticworkenvironmentwithoccasionalperiodsofhigh stress.

• 1. Fiveyearsofexperienceinthecustodialfieldwithtwoyearsofsupervisoryexperience required.
• Mustwearcompanyissueduniforms.
• Mustbeable topassbackgroundcheckanddrug screening.

Frequentphysicalexertion,exposuretocleaningchemicals,fumesfrombuffingmachinesand potentially infectious materials.
