Maintenance Technician / Mechanic, Installation Technician
Position Summary
Performs a wide range of maintenance and service tasks including installs and repairs.
Responsibilities- Perform maintenance and service tasks.
- Prepare and submit work orders, expense reports and timesheets to the respective departments.
- Evaluate products accurately for maintenance, warranty, upgrades and other purposes.
- Remove, install, diagnose, repair, disassemble and assemble parts and components.
- Collaborate closely with technical team to resolve technical issues.
- Provide training to service staff on how to identify and resolve issues, repairs, etc.
- Understand customer requirements and recommend the right products or services.
- Conduct client demonstrations when required.
- Analyze and diagnose technical problems effectively.
- Provide training to customers about product usage and maintenance.
- Support field staff in equipment set‑up for trade shows or exhibitions.
- Prepare creative product presentations for sales meetings or trainings.
- Build positive relationships with customers by providing outstanding and excellent services.
- Prepare and distribute maintenance records, warranty contracts, installation reports and other service reports to senior managers.
- Respond to customer complaints timely and effectively to meet sales goals.
Skills and Abilities
- Strong mechanical aptitude.
- Ability to read and understand blueprints.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Education:
HS diploma or equivalent; some technical education or certification(s) preferred. - Experience:
2+ years of related experience, preferably in a sport vehicle related industry.
Physical Requirements
- Manufacturing environment.
- Lift up to 50 lbs. regularly.
- Requires walking, standing, bending and lifting for long periods of time.
- Vision abilities required to validate and enter data on computer.
