Maintenance Assistant

Overview

We are currently accepting applications for a Maintenance Assistant within our long-term care and rehab facility specializing in geriatrics. • Must be knowledgeable of boilers, compressors, building codes, safety regulations and blueprint interpretations, generators and mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Completion of elementary education, able to read, write, and follow oral and written instruction
• Must pass background and drug screen
• Excellent communication skills in dealing with residents, sponsors, visitors, and staff
• Positive attitude towards the elderly

• Assist the Maintenance Director in all functions of the Maintenance Department and ensuring the building and equipment are maintained to include preventative maintenance.
