Supply Chain Maintenance Technician - B1​/4th Shift

Position Summary...

• Communicate with or to individuals or groups verbally and/or in writing e.g. customers, suppliers, associates
• Complete work orders, records, logs, and other written or computer-based documents according to established procedures
• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on equipment (e.g., lift trucks, pneumatic systems, material handling equipment, hydraulic equipment, dock equipment, electronic and electrical equipment) according to procedures
• Operate material handling equipment, battery equipment, moving machinery, and other powered equipment
• Clean and maintain grounds, parking lots, fencing, and building facilities (e.g., bathrooms, plumbing)
• Read and understand technical drawings (e.g., blueprints, electronic/mechanical schematics) to repair/maintain equipment
• Change industrial batteries for all types of power equipment, including removal and replacement of battery retention plates
• Maintain, inspect, clean, and repair industrial equipment batteries according to procedures (tips, contacts, cables)
• Assist other maintenance technicians in the repair and maintenance of equipment
• Troubleshoot complex problems with equipment where the repair is not immediately visible or obvious

The hourly wage range for this position is $32.55 - $36.05. Actual hourly rate will meet or exceed minimum wage; additional compensation in the form of premiums may apply.

Outlined below are the required minimum qualifications for this position. If none are listed, there are no minimum qualifications.

• 2 years of experience in industrial maintenance with electrical, electronics, and mechanical equipment (e.g., forklifts, conveyors, building equipment, automated equipment) or coursework/certification in industrial maintenance, electronics, electrical, mechanical automation, mechatronics, or related areas

• Industry-recognized certification such as Certified Reliability and Maintenance Technician (CRMT) or Master Certified Electronics Technician (MCET)
• Associate’s degree or higher in related fields (mechatronics, electronics, industrial maintenance)
