Janitor-Custodian

Position Overview

Custodian/Janitor responsible for maintaining premises cleanliness, performing basic maintenance, and reporting deficiencies.

• Clean designated building areas (sweeping, mopping, restroom cleaning, organization, etc.)
• Carry out heavy cleaning tasks and special projects as assigned.
• Notify management of deficiencies or repair needs.
• Perform minor repairs and paint as required.
• Stock and maintain supply room.
• Follow health and safety regulations and be familiar with Material Safety Data Sheets.
• Use cleaning chemicals and supplies safely.

Minimum 3+ years of experience as an Industrial Maintenance Mechanic with proven troubleshooting skills; prior fast‑paced manufacturing environment experience preferred.

High School Diploma.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills; basic computer skills preferred.

Rotating shifts; overtime and weekend work may be required.

Office setting with standard office equipment; occasional exposure to fumes, airborne particles, and moving mechanical parts.

Regular standing, walking, lifting up to 50 lbs, bending, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing/pulling, squatting, or crouching.
