Language RequirementsFluency in English and Spanish
Academic RequirementsRequired – High school diploma, or equivalent.
CertificationsFirst aid, CPR, Emergency behavior intervention.
Work Experience- Required – Two (2) plus years of experience in janitorial or maintenance and knowledge of chemicals and reactions, and safe and proper use of cleaning supplies and equipment.
- Preferred – Three (3) plus years of related experience and/or training.
- a. Respond sensitively and competently to the service population’s cultural and socio-economic characteristics.
- b. Work collaboratively with other staff members, service providers and professionals.
- c. Maintain knowledge of new and current equipment used to carry out maintenance duties.
- d. Achieve impeccable standards of cleanliness in work outcomes.
- e. Read, analyze, and interpret policy manuals and documents.
- f. Work in a fast-paced environment and maintain emotional control and professional composure at all times.
- g. Maintain computer literacy required to meet the responsibilities of the position.
- h. Organize and plan work.
- i. Work effectively and without intensive supervision both independently and as a member of a multidisciplinary team.
