Maintenance Supervisor

We are currently looking for a qualified Maintenance Supervisor for a company located in Beaufort, SC.

Pay: $32.00/hr.

$160 weekly for being on call

Job Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of the maintenance team
  • Assign and prioritize work orders to ensure timely completion
  • Perform and oversee repairs involving HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, appliances, and other building systems
  • Conduct preventative maintenance inspections and implement maintenance schedules
  • Oversee apartment make-readies and ensure units are prepared for new residents
  • Respond to emergency maintenance requests and participate in the on-call rotation
  • Inspect completed work to ensure quality standards are met
  • Maintain inventory of tools, equipment, and maintenance supplies
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations, company policies, and property standards
  • Provide excellent customer service by addressing resident maintenance concerns promptly and professionally
  • Train, mentor, and support maintenance technicians to promote a safe and efficient work environment

Qualifications:

  • Previous apartment maintenance experience required
  • Prior supervisory or team lead experience preferred
  • Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, appliance repair, and general building maintenance
  • EPA Section 608 Certification preferred (or ability to obtain)
  • Knowledge of preventative maintenance programs and property maintenance standards
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
  • Ability to prioritize work orders and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Excellent customer service and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to use maintenance software, work order systems, and basic computer programs
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
